Here I Am Again, Energy Hat in Hand

My new daughter-in-law, married (from afar by proxy) to my Runaway (who just returned from Afghanistan), is on her way from Washington State to Ft. Hood Texas to join her husband.

She is driving the desert route south thru Eastern Washington, across Utah, Nevada, etc....so good thoughts for no vehicular disasters with her little SUV pulling a U-Haul trailer would be greatly appreciated.

This home she heads to is their first together, I am so excited for them; and yet so worried...beginnings are so tender and tenuous!

Thanks! She is safely there now, they await payday doing the newlywed (almost...it's been a year, but it is their first time together since he was in Afghanistan that whole year) "ramen until payday" dance.

Ah....young love and marriage.
