Since cutting my online time and profile down, and leaving Live Journal...there are not a lot of places online that I spend time.

However, one place that I am very fond of, is the Dreamwidth site.  It is a journal/blogging site much like Live Journal but without the ads and screw-ups.

How do they do it?  By limiting membership and controlling growth.  You can buy a membership anytime, but a free one requires an invite code.  I believe Lark is on Dreamwidth, and know that Brock is...and some of you here, if you are not already there would surely enjoy some of the pagan communities forming there.

Thus...I give you invite codes:

BDBF72RSPBWTRAAAPLB4

And here is a link to <a href=http://www.dreamwidth.org/interests?int=paganism&type=C>pagan groups</a> on Dreamwidth.

I'm still on LiveJournal and too lazy to move everything to DreamWidth.  But Brock does have a DW account.  I don't journal that much so the problems that others have had with LJ haven't annoyed me enough to leave.  But thanks for the invite, I may have to take a look at it since many of my friends are now there.

The nice thing is, you don't really have to move everything.  And you can set it to cross-post effortlessly.  And yes, you can read friends who've made the leap.

I was aggravated at LJ, but likely would have stayed in both places if not for problems I had.  I couldn't sign on half the time...got messages like "your speed indicates you are likely a spammer" and other such crud.  My little mind just went "SNAP" one day...
