Well, you all have 'known' me since I was in high school, and last Saturday, I took the walk across the stage in my black gown and got my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Never thought this day would get here. I am still looking for a job, but I know it's out there somewhere waiting for me to put my application in. I am looking for a Pediatric job, hopefully at a hospital that is just FILLED with kids.

Heartiest congratulations from one nurse to another! That's indeed a job well done.

There are a number of pediatric hospitals out here in Tennessee including Vanderbilt Children's hospital in Nashville and the Shriner's Hospital in Memphis. You might take a look at them.

Thanks everybody Smiley

I start my new job as a Medical-Surgical nurse on the 17th. The particular hospital I will be working at doesn't have a pediatrics wing, so all the kids come to our floor when they get sick. My new boss said that the nurses there aren't used to kids, so some would be glad to let me take care of the sick kids that come to our floor so I can get pediatric experience.
