A couple of months ago I was contacted to write a short chapter on modern Paganism to be included in the upcoming book "Religions: A Clinical Guide for Nurses" The author contacted me today with the final draft and I'm really happy with it. The book should be published sometime during the year.

Knowing as well as I do that trying to describe the beliefs of modern Paganism can be as difficult as a blind man trying to describe an elephant I tried very carefully to stress that Paganism was an experiential religion and that the best person to tell the nurse what it is that they believe is the patient themselves.  Yet there are some things that all of us as Pagans tend to hold in common and those I felt free to describe.  I think it will be a helpful addition for someone who knows little or nothing about Paganism.

I can't think of anyone I would rather have doing this work. Thank you!

You're perfect for that job - can't think of anyone else who could come close.

Thanks for sharing!
