I hope you are all well and happy.

We managed to get a few days away with the kids for a short holiday which has been really nice. The break did everyone the world of good.

Ryans finished his exams now and he's left school, he's got himself a part-time job till he starts college.
Both the little ones are doing fine.

I did manage to celebrate the Solstice which was good. I don't often get a lot of chance with the kids around.

I'll pop back on here in the week.
Blessings

I'm glad you had a nice holiday! My hubby and I went on a holiday for 4 days (no children but the bun in the oven!) and he and I had a great time too...he even said that he felt closer to me afterward Smiley Which is always a lovely thing! Summer is turning out well!

Hi Kate,

Glad to hear that things are somewhat calmer in your life and that you got to have a bit of a respite from all of the drama of the past year.  Here's to the peace and calm continuing for all of you.

I'm getting ready to leave for Pennsic War at the end of the month for two weeks in the Middle Ages.  Unfortunately Brock won't be there with me this year as he can't afford the vacation time.  But I did have him home over the 4th of July weekend and again this weekend.  Here's to finding that new job soon so we can get back to living together again!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the job for Brock.

I know its not easy juggling work and "Us time".
Unfortunately here, there isn't that much work around as Jons been looking for a new job so he can spend more time with the kids and me, but at least he has some work so for that I must be grateful.

Indeed, in the economy these days having A job even if it isn't perfect is infinitely better than being out of work entirely.

Hopefully the job fairy will visit both of our households with good news real soon now.
