...even if it is suppressed to mere whimpers.
I came in from watering plants today to find the ferret Taz crawling weakly and blowing pinkish froth from his mouth and clawing at his mouth.
Yes, waiting for ride to vet. Worried sick, can't find injury, nothing in his mouth.

He is on antibiotics now (and boy does he hate those!), but his appetite was better this morning. So, I think that means he will improve rapidly.
I think he had a seizure yesterday, likely as a result of a bad bladder infection and prostatitis from the adrenal cancer we took care of a bit more than ten weeks ago. Likely the infection has been simmering, unseen, all this time.

Thank goodness it sounds as though this is treatable. I'll keep some energy going for the little guy nonetheless.

I appreciate that...woozle health can turn on a dime, in EITHER direction. I won't be breathing any total sighs of relief for a couple weeks. |

He just finished his meds. He seems to be acting pretty normal, but feels a wee bit underweight still. I have been playing phone tag with the vet on whether he needs another exam...

Thanks, Lark. He seems much better, but still gets tired rather earlier than usual for him. Today is the vet's day off, or I'd be calling her again. I don't know if he really is still sick or just showing his age.
