I can't seem to, ah, locate any locals that share my views. Lots of Catholics, though... All very rigid. Regardless, are there any near Valrico or Tampa? I feel rather isolated.

We're on the wrong coast of Florida for you, but I've never noticed any shortage of Pagan Floridians no matter where in the state I've roamed.

If you haven't tried Witchvox here's the link for the Florida listings:  http://www.witchvox.com/vn/hm/usfl.html The listings are divided into individuals, groups, shops, events, etc and then each group is listed by the city/town.  There are five groups listed for the Tampa area.

Looks like there's lots of Pagan activity in the Tampa area and no shortage of Pagans for you to network with.
