Our Samhain plans

Millie was born on 29th October 3 years ago and I brought her home on 31st October so somehow Samhain has become even more special to us.  For her birthday she's asked to go out for a grown up meal so we're taking her to a special restaurant and for Samhain she's going trick or treating with Ryan as he takes her round with some of his friends, she loves that. Then I've told Ryan they can all come home to share some food.
We'll set extra places at the table for loved ones who have passed and I'll cook apple pies to use up the last of the harvest. Later on I'll burn incense and candles (its a bit difficult to do a full ritual as invairably one of the children wakes up) and I generally clean my tools and have a good sort out of candles and things I've acculmalated over the year. Its always a nice evening.

Wow!  Has it really been three years?  Seems like only yesterday, and now here she is a big girl.  I must be getting old.
