We have had more computer trouble this week than in the past five years.  My son suffered catastrophic hard drive failure...in his maind drive AND back up. 

Just as he recovered 80% of what was lost, and was doing a rebuild, his cats pulled a cable as he loaded a new version of Windows and it simply WIPED his computer.

Everything is gone, he will need special recovery programs to get it back. 

I quit.  Not meant to happen right now.  Perhaps somehow by Memorial Day.  I have the lists still....but the Nekysia video is gone.

That sounds like the sort of thing that happens to me.  Computers as a general class hate me and manage to fail at the most critical moment.

Sorry to hear that it might have had a negative impact on your Samhain though.

Well, I have been giving that thought, since you mention it.  I think perhaps it was a positive effect.  I HAD moved the Labyrinth work to the Hellenic Nekysia, after all.  That was act one of reclaiming Samhain as a personal family sabbat.

But the very working up the lists and video to post for other pagans focused on Samhain....perhaps it was a violation of that in some way, and thus, a bit of computer-deity thwapping had to happen, for all I know.

Yeah, pretty much.  And what it did to the Manchild's computers was FAR more traumatic.
