Hello everyone, I call myself Morning mist and am a 51 year old woman from Ontario Canada. Since I became disillusioned with my own religion I was brought up with and most of the other religions I have been looking for something to believe in. I may of found that within Wicca and/or the Pagan communities.
I have begun to read several books such as Scott Cunninghams Wicca A Guide for Solitary Practitioners and Margot Adlers Drawing Down the Moon. Next book I have to read is Thea Sabin Wicca for Beginners. So far I have found a lot of information that is helping me in more ways than I can count. My book list is extensive and I plan to haunt used books stores and Amazon.ca in the future for those books.
I look forward to reading the threads here and hope that someday I may be able to contribute some to them too.
Blessed be
Morning mist

Hello and welcome!!

Don't wait around to "know more" before getting into the discussions.  We all have our strengths and our areas that need work.  New perspectives are always welcome.

Greetings and welcome to the forum.  Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.  I came to Wicca when I was almost your age, just a few years younger.  And I haven't regretted a moment of the journey since.

If I might suggest a couple of books for you I would recommend:

"A Witch Alone" by Marian Green
"Wicca; A Year and a Day" by Timothy Roderick

Both books include lots of references and exercises I think you'll find useful in building a practice.
