Ha! I never thought of the pun Smiley That's pretty good! Talk about doing what you have to do!

I wonder about what's up astrologically too. I'll have to go see if I can find out what's up...I'm super novice at astrology.

I love puns.  Sometimes the worse they are, the better!  And New Moon is here...the house is cleansed, the Labyrinth is winter-ready and peace is falling.  Nothing like being on your knees on the Earth (for 3 hours of weeding)  to settle you into it, you know?

Well, wrapping up Earth now.  The garden was much more of a success this year---the warm weather helped and the deer did not eat it!

Even the wormwood, mugwort and white sage I planted from seed came up and flourished!  Yay!!  So, yes, we made homemade absinthe.  And the final "earthy" craft is the mop doll I made to honor that process:

Absinthia, the Green Fairy Mop-Doll (with dried wormwood at her feet)

Seriously! She is beautiful! I have no idea how you make half the crafts you make. You are very talented, and I am so glad that you share with us!

This one is detailed with 'how to do it' at the AntiCraft message boards (in the 'Everything Else' folder), so you can make your very own, or a variant thereof.

I am working on a "Saint Death" mop doll for Samhain...since I had to buy another mop to demonstrate the 'how' after someone at the other site asked for pics.
