Ancient "Witch necklace"

Dear All,
         This might be a bit of a long shot but ....  a few years ago I had a book on Symbols of the Occult, knowing me I lent it to a friend and never got it back. However, there was an ancient necklace shown which was made for a female witch. Bound with leather thong, it included quartz and nuggets of raw silver, coral and shell ..... amongst other semi precious stones. (Wish I could find the book!) anyway, I'm looking to make a simplified version and include stones which are traditional and some that are used today.

My first question is .... has anyone got a similar picture in one of their books?  and my second question, any recomendations on what crystals to use if I can't trace the photo of the necklace?

Any ideas and help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm not familiar with the book or the picture in question.  One has to wonder whether it was really a "witch" necklace or simply the fine adornment for a rich woman in ancient times.  Without more information it's very hard to tell.

As far as what crystals you include in it, I would think that would depend very much on what you see the necklace doing for you.  Do you want it for protection?  To increase your psychic power?  To open a channel to a specific Deity?  Once you decide what it is you'd like the necklace to represent and do then it would be easier to look for crystals that enhance that goal.
