I've been working on some childhood trauma lately and trying to change a core belief from that time that I know intellectually is incorrect, but emotionally it's much harder to believe.

Anyway without going too far into it, I have been working on that and it has changed my brain chemistry enough that I think I've hit the sensory overload wall.

I feel like I'm currently walking around blind.  I used to be very sensitive to energy flowing around me.  Now... not so much.

Even trying to go back to the basics of chakra work and basic energy play.  I don't feel that tingle that tells me it's working.

A friend has checked and I am able to move energy, I just can't feel it right now.

Any suggestions on what I can do to reconnect?  Or should I just give myself a break?

I have had my share of working through childhood drama, and I know that periods of rest are often needed throughout the healing cycles. If you intuition is telling you to have some peace and time, then trust it.

Your specific energy challenge I can't personally speak on. I have no doubt that that your emotional healing and upheaval are having an effect on it though, with everything being connected. If I were you, I would try to release the worry about that, and accept that it will return in time. (Easier said than done, I know!)

I suspect that it is a bit like straining a muscle from over-exercising.  I would suggest letting it all rest for a bit and give yourself time to recover.

I had an interesting weekend.  Went to a ritual/blessing and while I did feel strongly stuff that wasn't my energy, I didn't feel my energy.  So I've come to the conclusion that for my energy it's a matter of trust. 

Trust that it's happening.  Trusting myself, now there's something to think on!
