Hello All,
I've been using Hypericum cream for my ezema. It got so bad on my hands that everything I used stings and so Ive tried this one. It has calendula in it for healing and the hypericum is a mild anethesic. Its great and working well BUT for the past two nights that I have used it I have had some vivid dreams, parts of these are nightmarish. I don't usually wake up and remember dreams, let alone wake up in a sweat.

Does anyone know if this is a side effect of the Hypericum? (I know Hypericum is St.Johns Wort and used as a sedative.)

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Love
Kate. xx

I used to make a tea of the wild St. John's wort in my yard...never had bad dreams and it was a good relaxant and pain reliever.

My guess is, the dreams have more to do with your current stress level and facing surgery.  The only side effect I ever heard much about was that it could make you a bit light sensitive---prone to burning.
