Hi, my name is Catherine. I've been a pagan for about 20 years. I would call myself a solitary eclectic wiccan, if I had to put a label on my beliefs. Though, the wiccan part is fairly new.

I'm a member of several forums, but they all seem to be heavy in the drama department, and I'm really looking for a drama free zone, where I can actually learn something, LOL!

I'm familiar with Lark's essays on witchvox, and posts in another forum that I belong to. I guess that's what eventually led me here.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here and hope to get to know people, learn some things, and share a bit of what I already know.

Catherine

Hi Catherine, welcome to Branwen's.  Pull up a chair to the fire and help yourself to the cookies...but beware of the goat!  Generally we're pretty drama-free here.  Not that we don't occasional disagree with each other, but I'm pretty insistent that folks act like grownups if they want to play in my livingroom.  So I think you'll like it here.

Thanks everyone, for such a warm welcome!

I've spent a little time wandering about, reading. Lots of good information here!

Generally, I think debate is good thing. Hearing other people's opinions and ideas helps me broaden my perspective. Too often it can degenerate into personal attacks and such. That's when I tend to bow out. Who has time for that sort of thing, anyway?

Cookies? I love cookies! I like goats too.

Labrys, congrats on the shoes! I don't think I've ever even seen real wooden shoes.
