I figure you guys will get a kick out of this!

The company where I work gets shipments in from Japan for various parts, molds, etc.  One of the receiving guys opened one of these boxes, fresh off the container from Moji, Japan, and found two little kittens inside.  Unfortunately, one of them didn't survive the trip, but the other was a thin, hungry orange tabby and very much alive!

The girls in the HR office went out and bought a food bowl and some Kitten Chow, and after warming up and getting some much needed food and water, she became very friendly and was purring all over everyone that came by to see her.

Our receptionist agreed to take her - Goddess bless her, she's taken in many rescue animals, including several special-needs dogs - and says that little Moji is doing great.  The vet says she was about 6 weeks old when she was found and has a clean bill of health.  She's also starting to bond with the other cats in the house and apparently has the loudest purr that her new owner has ever heard!  Envy

Tis truly a wonderful thing that someone was able to take this little one in and give it a good home! Speaking from experience, this person will probably reap the benefits many times over by means of the unconditional love one gains from these little guys!

Thank goodness the one kitten survived the trip and has fallen into loving hands.  They really are remarkable little animals.

It's so sad the one kitten didn't survive the journey, but a blessing indeed one is alive and well.  Good Vibes ((Kitten hugs))

It's amazing that cat was able to survive, and have a safe home with someone to take care of it properly. It's so sad though, that the other didn't make it. I'd really like a tabby, theyre so adorable. Well, I hope Moji does okay in the future, and my brightest blessings.
