Hello and welcome to the forum.  This is a great place to meet other Pagans and share a wide variety of experiences.  We have people here from all over the world and a wide variety of paths.

In terms of learning about Celtic traditions the first thing that I would suggest is avoiding the books in the New Age section.  They generally are highly inaccurate in terms of understanding what the Celts actually believed.  Remember too that we don't know an awful lot about Celtic religious practices because they believed it was wrong to commit things to writing.

Here are some books that I'd suggest for starters:

"The Pagan Celts" by Anne Ross
"Celtic Goddesses" by Miranda Green
"Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles" by Ronald Hutton
"The Druids" by Peter Berresford Ellis
"The Celts" by Barry Cunliffe
"Dying for the Gods" by Miranda Green
"Celtic Sacred Landscapes" by Nigel Pennick
"Life and Death of a Druid Prince" by Anne Ross

That should do for starters on your reading and give you a pretty solid grounding in Celtic belief.  I would also take a look at some of the original stories such as the Irish Tains and the Welsh Mabinogian.

Thank you all so much for your welcome!

Lark I will take a look at those books. Thank you. I actually did know that there is not much recorded about the Celts... so sad that.

Rock on peeps.  Crazy

Hi Nephi-Lynne,
I didn't realise there was so much written about the Celts until about 10 years ago when my hubby passed away and left me a book. Opened my eyes to a few things and more so that Stoy wasn't as dumb as he let others think.

Oh... I was a Witch long before I met him but,all the same, still rivers run deep.  Expanded my knowledge.
