After almost 14 years I've lost my furbaby girl, Haley (a s***zu). She was very sick and it was becoming so difficult for her to walk anymore.  I will miss her tremendously but I know she's free of pain and suffering and is running about chasing other furbabies I've lost over the years. Cry

I just wanted to say how I miss her and love her so dearly.  My daughter (who will be 8 in November) is sad but wants a puppy for Yule.  I told her we'll wait till Spring and then maybe we'll get another then.

I have lost two pups in the past few years, and I know how hard it is Sad  Cossie had blood pooling in his lungs when we had to put him down.

My condolences to you and your family. I've had to say goodbye to a furkid and it isn't easy. The best you can do is take comfort in the knowledge that you gave them the best life possible.

:'(Oh my, I am saddened to hear that.  It never feels good when a loved one dies.  I have an affinity for cats but I know that I would feel just as horrible if something ever happened to them. They are my children.  Black Cat  May my thoughts and prayers be w/ you and your family and even w/ your furbaby.  Good Vibes

I'm so sorry to hear that.  For such small creatures they leave such gaping holes in our hearts.

How awful for you and your family! Please know that I can relate to your pain....many times over; as I have lost quite a few beloved and cherished companions over time.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and may the Goddess keep you and yours in Love and Light.
Blessed Be.

Thank you everyone.  I appreciate the thoughts and prayers and I know many of you can relate. It's never easy.  This is my 3rd furbaby that has passed on.  I've lost two cats over the past 4 years also.  This is the fistt time I've had to put one down.  She had a good life and she was a great friend.  She's happy & free now.

*HUGS* to you all for your kindness.

Oh by the way, I dreamt of her last night.  She was sitting at the bottom of my bed happily resting and wagging her tail at me when I saw her. : )

Angelrn thank you for your thoughts hon.  I know she's happy now so that's what matters.  I've got three cats to keep me busy still.

Funny the newest one who is a year old this month.  She came into our house a few days before Samhain last year.  My husband came home from work and there she was under the dining room table with the dog under there tail wagging barking away at her.  I kept her for a few days thinking someone would coming looking for her (especially since she appears to be a Manx) and no one did.  She's become my little love bug.  She's so loving and loves to snuggle with me. One of the other two cats was also a homeless kitten I brought home with me. Husband loves me for it. LOL! Smiley
