As of yesterday I am officially retired and on Social Security.

The work that I've been doing part time finally dried up and went away and I decided that I'm tired of having this happen.  So I decided to simply go ahead and retire

This will leave me more time to work on my studies with Cherry Hill and to get down and dirty with the book that I've been trying to write.  And that's before talking about the five quilts that I have in the planning/construction stages.  So even though I'm retired I am going to be busy, busy, busy.

Enjoy it !
Though my parents both retired a few years ago, my father is now a consultant for University College London (part time) where he used to work. They decided they would have to employ 2 people to do his job so they didn't want him to go. And my Mum, though not nursing anymore, makes celebration cakes.
Retiring just means you can do thing that you want to do now.
Best wishes

Hi Mary,

Yep, I'm writing a book on being Wiccan clergy with Judy Harrow.  Or at least I'm trying to.  I have the outline in my head and the first chapter done, but still have much to do.

Enjoy being able to do all the things you didn't have enough time for before retiring.
