Hi Labrys,
I'm 37 next month, and had my 3rd child (someone help me) last December, so I've not hit the menopause yet as such, but my periods were sparce before I fell pregnant (take heed everyone).

I've not felt anything unusual except hot  and only then in myself, though in this house, as it is very strange anyway, I'm grateful for a cold spot.

Try Evening primrose oil as a massage or taken internally in capsule form, and a few drops of rose absolute in your bath.
Eat healthily, which I'm sure you do but supliment with some extra vitamins. And I find a Chakra bracelet helpful for some reason.

It could just be the change in seasons, which, as you know is adjusting, but I'm thinking that, like me, you are sensitive to the Autumn / fall, and the colours. The change of the year.

I have changed some candles and also bought a pendulum which I need to learn about, I don't want to use my Tarot... just things like that.

PM me if you want.
Blessings
Kate. xx

Guess it is time for an update, lol.

Hey, men could contribute, lol, Zenon.  After all, even men have a hormonal shift and change of life---it simply is not so obvious as for women.

I have had some roaring cold-asthma combination since late August; the month of November was really bad, so much of my exploration kind of fell off.  Now, I think I may finally be getting to the end of that, so even with the holiday bustle, I need to get back to work.

I went to that Althing, met some interesting people and made some new friends.  But I don't know if divinatory seidr is for me; if I have a complaint against Nordic paths it would have to be that there seems to be very distinct channels and little room for exploration.  But it very much depends on what group you find.  I do wish I lived closed to Paxton's group in California, for instance.

All in all, some of the seeming psychic phenomenon have settled a bit since Samhain.  I feel my connections with a very nearby Nordic group are constructive; they will be coming here for an event in February when I will host the fire and the meal.  One thing in common, lol, like me and unlike Wiccans...they eat FIRST and then go to ritual.  Especially in winter...I need the fuel, lol, before facing the outside cold!  So, I think the little pushes of the summer and fall are sending me the right direction....if slowly and uncertainly.

LOng old topic, but hey....finally did come up with a use for this particular peculiarity!

In my element attunement year, I am struggling with Water.  So reaching a bit out of myself to try working the issues surfacing, I adapted a tarot technique.  I took the trumps and the cups only for my modified deck for April thru July 1st.

But how to select the cards for various exploratory layouts?
I spread the cards face down, shut my eyes and run my hand over the cards...about 2 inches up.  Lo and behold...that warm feeling comes and tells me what card to select!

So, the heat is not just menopausal and apparently it IS a signal of some sort.  So, now, I am cooking with ...hot water??!

That's one nice thing about the pagan path...if our gods don't get our attention the first time, they try, try again until our heads are sore from the bludgeoning!

That's really exciting for you! I'm glad that the waters are becoming slightly less murky!

Yeah, bludgeoning.  One of THEIR favorite words, I think.

I can deal with that I guess...being so fond of the term "defenestrate" myself! Wink
