Lately, I've been having stomach problems.  Nothing will fill me up, but when I eat, I feel like I'm not going to be able to keep it down.  I've been eating lots and lots of peppermints, which has helped calm my tummy, (and gives me great breath!)  but with me going to Europe in the next few weeks, I don't know if a peppermint will help me with trying out new foods and such.  I'm not sure...

Any remedies to fix a sore stummy?

Sore tummies aren't fun. Sad

I get sore tummies a lot and what I do is have peppermint tea, do some reiki over the sore bit, and stay warm.
Lately I've also been having a fermented milk drink called Yakult from the supermarket. It is in a tiny wee bottle that makes me think "hee hee cute wee bottle!" every time I see it heh. It has live L. casei bacteria in it and it makes my body feel better so less sore tummies yay!
I hope that helps and you feel better before you get to go play in Europe   Smiley

Frankly there are a number of things which could be causing the problem and some of them are not going to go away with drinking teas, using herbs, etc.  So I would suggest that a trip to your doctor might be in order to make sure there is nothing more than an upset tummy going on.  I don't have near enough information from your post to venture a diagnosis, and doing that sort of thing on-line is really not a safe way to go about it.  So get thee to a physician.

Once you know what you're dealing with we might be better able to offer suggestions to try.

I was thinking maybe...but I've taken a test, and it's told me that I'm not.  Which gets one thing out of the way, but still doesn't tell me what's wrong.  I go to my doctor on Monday, hopefully he can tell me something.  We'll see what happens!

Have you had any store bought tomatos?  There's a somanella (sp?) outbreak going on right now.  I think my best friend just got hit with it because I know she likes tomatos and right now she feels sicker than a dog.  (And where did that saying come from I wonder?)  So it may be food poisoning.  Apparently, grape, cherry and vine tomatos didn't get contaminated but all the others did.  So for those of you who like tomatos (I'm surprised I didn't get hit with this because I love them), you might want to abstain from them for a while.  Hope you feel better soon.

Warm Wishes,

Surprisingly, I haven't had tomatoes lately.  The Cowboy doesn't like them, and he's been doing most of the cooking lately.

How's your stomach doing? Has the mystery been solved?

I've been feeling alot better.  If I don't eat fried foods, I'm pretty safe.  When I was in Europe, where everything was fresh and wonderful (I need to move there!), I had very very few problems.  Mystery isn't solved, though I do know it isn't a pregnancy.  (I don't think I would be ready for that!)

If fried foods are bothering you (or especially if you tend to notice stomach problems within a few hours after eating), you might want to go to the doc and get your gallbladder checked out. You might be having gallbladder attacks, believe it or not! I know a few in their 20's who have had to have surgery to have them removed.

My Papa didn't go to get his checked out until it was super serious, and several of his surrounding organs had started to get infected, so don't delay!

It sounds like IBS or related condition which requires a medical practitioner's attention and diagnosis.
