This is Avery, the 5 year old daughter of a friend.

Avery was recently found to have a particularly bad type of brain tumor.  The doctor's gave her 3-6 months without aggresskve chemotherapy and only a 15% survival chance with the chemotherapy.  They also said that even if the chemo works it may leave her brain-damaged and severaly disabled.  The plan at the moment is for Avery to undergo one course of chemo and see how the tumor responds.  If it is shrinking her parents will continue the therapy.  It it is not, then chemo will stop and they will enjoy the time they have left.  Avery started chemo this week and is suffering all the miserable side effects that were expected.

Avery and her parents are not Pagan, so please..no magical workings.  But if you could send some good energy and prayers in her direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Her parents must be stricken with grief and fear.  All good thoughts indeed....

I will most definately keep this precious child and her family in my prayers. Do you know if her parents be against my sending her reiki?

Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

I don't know what their feelings on Reiki might be, but I've sent them a message asking.  I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them.
