I've read quite a bit of the Bible, and while I believe it is more of a guide than a literal history and/or prophecy, I found this article and video clip from CNN very unnerving.

I really don't know how people like this get followers, and scares me that they do.  This creep seems to have walked straight of of Revelations, and his followers just laugh it off.

I wouldn't worry too much. The people who follow him are just desperate for something to believe in. If he turns out to be another Jim Hones then all I can say is stupidity is its own reward.

Read another article on CNN about the guy, apparently his wife is leaving him for embezzeling money and cheating on her.  You'd think the followers would get a clue, but no.  They're all a bunch of loonies.

Hi,    I've just had a quick read of the CNN article ......  the worrying thing is, is the influence that people like this manage to have but as Shadow says ..... another Jim Jones.    That said, everyone has the right to believe what they wish to believe and follow whatever faiths they want to follow.
We just have to hope that oneday they wake up and smell the roses before its too late.

Blessings
Kate. xx
