The cooling fan on the computer decided it wasn't getting along with the processor so it quit. Had to wait til Dell could send the right one out. Guess what, it was still the wrong one, but the guy who fixed it had a fan that worked after some connector splicing, assorted prayers and profanity.

Hopefully this will keep this old machine limping along for a while longer.

Welcome back.  I was wondering if the winds had carried you guys away.

We're going to be replacing the desktop we have in the living room in the near future.  The machine we have there isn't really fast, but it is reliable.  If you'd be interested in having it we'd be happy to give it to you.

Yeah, actually that would be greatly appreciated.

I do play a lot of games on this thing but the actual primary purpose of having it is for Jennie's business. I'm always amazed that people have time to sit down and e-mail her for an appointment but can't take the time to pick up the phone and dial it. Between that and her needing to do all of her herb and needle orders online it will be great to have a back up.

Maybe, if you guys would be interested in putting uys up for a couple of days we can even figure a way to swing up and see you and then we can pick up the computer at the same time.
