I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandmother, but I'm glad that your family did have some time with her to say goodbyes.

My prayers remain with you and your family.

I saw Grandma's body last night, and today she'll be creamated.  I've had my closure and it's time to move on.  She hadn't been embalmed or worked on at all, but her body looked good; she even had a smile on her face.

Thank you all for your support.  From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Christophe~

Just read this and I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  I wish I had found this thread earlier so I could help out while she was still alive.

You and your family will be in my prayers.

That's alright, Ara, don't be sorry.  The way I figure it, if she had lived, she just would have been in a lot of pain, not to mention very embarrassed.  Grandma was always humiliated at the thought of being seen while gravely ill and even at the idea of her dead body being seen.  That is why she didn't go to the hospital.  I feel that her death was for the best considering the circumstances.  Perhaps in her next life she will learn not to be so embarrassed.

Thank you for your thoughts, however.
