As some of you will know, Jon, my hubby hasn't seen his kids in 2 years.... not for the want of trying. We have been to court several times and the lawyers have cost us over £6000 and the bill is getting bigger.

The 'Mother' (for want of a better word) was seen abusing two of the children  in a shop last week.

What do I do now....Huh??

I'd like for his kids to come and live here.....    because.... 1) No drugs ( Mummy has a problem with cocaine)  2) I'd dress them according to the weather (the school called US last week cos the kids didn't have coats, 3) they would get so much love and US being with them.... having FUN !!!!

Mummy's drug problem seems to be getting worse. She was taking £250 a day.... so $500 approximatley a day, when Jon had to leave,
and Jon is paying money to her every week for the kids but she keeps on asking for more.

I've been a bit of a b**** and asked her for reciepts for anything she buys the kids so we know it is being spent on them .... but hey.... druggies seem to have a lie for everything.

I'm having real problems sleeping and doing day to day stuff when I think about the children.  Our Social Services in England feel its best to leave the children with their Mum, so we are having a double problem trying to prove that we can offer them a happier home (where mummy isn't having sex with various men and sniffing snow !!!)

Can you produce those witnesses and have them give their story to the constables?  Between that and the drug use, I'd have a hard time believing any court would want to leave the children with her.

But then, I've dealt with lawyers on this side.................

In times of difficulty, look in the mirror.

It is likely you will see the cause as well as the solution.

Your situation sounds horrible - I work with young people here in the UK and am always shocked at just how bad things seem to have to get before children are removed from an unfit parent.

It is SO important to give children a loving & stable home, I work every day with young women who haven't had that, & it breaks my heart, expecially since my partner & I can't have children!

Just keep plugging away at it, write everything down, get as many witnesses as you can & don't give up .... best of luck, you guys and the little ones are in my thoughts - blessed be.
