Let's get dangerous....

WWW
« on: January 12, 2007, 07:12:36 PM »

In October of 2002, 12 year old Shawn Hornbeck disappeared while riding his bike in a rural portion of Franklin County MO, about 40 miles from here.  There has been no trace of him since that time.

Last week Ken Ownby, similar age, went missing after getting off of his school bus.  Different county, but roughly the same distance away.  Another child gave police the only clue they had..... a white Toyota pickup with a camper shell and rust spots.

It was good enough.

Late this afternoon, both boys were found.

Alive.

The two-legged maggot responsible for their abductions is in custody.

I can imagine somewhat the relief felt by the Ownby family getting their son back after a week or so.

I can't fathom what Shawn's parents must be feeling right now.... getting their lost son back after over 4 years.

It happens all to often that we ask each other to light candles, incense, etc. to assist us in various problems we have in life.

Tonight, I'm asking all of you to do so to say "Thank You" to the Divine, by whatever name you choose, that these kids have been reunited with their families.

That is good news.

A lady on the horse board I am on lives a short distance away from the Ownby family.

Tanks for the update. I will pass along the good news to the horse folks. Most of them are Christians, but as far as I'm concerned, praying is praying.

Thanks Chuck.
