Sorry I haven't been around this week, folks.  I started a new job, so I have been busy learning the ropes.

So, what is the weather doing to all of you?  It's been weird here - no snow with warm temps well above the norms for this time of year.  It's raining right now, but I am not complaining.  No sir, not me. . . I'd rather be walking in the rain then shoveling the snow!

what the weather is doing to us?  it's either extremely windy electrical storms followed by cold, or extremely hot 40 degree celcius heat.

It keeps fluctuating between the 20's and the 60's.  No snow as of yet, but plenty of rain.

Lots of rain here in Kansas.  We escaped Colorado right before the snow hit.   Laugh Out Loud

We had a white Solstice for the first time in over 15 years.  I've really enjoyed it... well, most of it.  There was an ice storm, followed by a few inches of snow, so tree branches are down all over, and the power has been on and off for the last few days.  But, it's really pretty outside.  The trees look like they're made of glass, and they catch the sunlight like prisms.  Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me.   Smiley

The pictures don't do it justice, because I'm crappy photographer, but you get the idea.

Where I am ...... out in the sticks in England ..... we've had fog.
At Gatwick and Heathrow airports the planes couldn't take off but in our village we couldn't see a hand in front of our faces. Add the freezing temperature and black ice .....

But then we complain when its too hot then again when its too cold ..... we wont ever be satisfied.

Made it back to Colorado right before the second Blizzard hit.  It's STILL snowing.  Ugh.
