Personally I think that life has whatevery meaning that you chose to give it.

I rather like the Buddhist concept of living mindfully.  We are living because we are living.  What we chose to do with the life we are given is what gives it meaning in the greater scheme of things.

Emersson said: "These roses under my window make no reference to former roses or to better ones, they are for what they are; they exist with God today.  There is no time to them.  There is simply the rose; it is perfect in every moment of its existence."

Before society and our own egos seek to find measures of worth, we simply are.  Perfect in our own beings.

Beautifully said.  Lark, do you mind if I quote you in my philosophy paper?  I think it fits perfect.

Always~
