Many years ago now my parent coven was holding a bardic circle as part of our Yule celebration. For my part I wrote a poem that told the story of the return of the Sun Lord in a manner in which it might have been told around the fires of our ancestors. You can find the poem here:

This is so beautiful! As I'm sure you remember, Lark, I loved this so much I used it in our Yule ritual a few years ago, (of course I asked permission first!, which Lark graciously gave!) Many of my coven members were so moved by it that I sent them to Lark's website and let me tell you all of her writings on the Sabbats are just as lovely and moving.
