Dear All,
We've had a bit of a disaster here....... don't worry Millie is fine, put on over half a kilo in a week.   But Jon went football training with Ryan on Tuesday night and trained with the boys, fell over and broke his leg. He's not allowed to work for 6 weeks, in plaster and on crutches, is non-weight bearing, not allowed to drive .....    you can imagine.....     not able to have a bath (I said I'd top and tail him when I do Millie !)    And he is self employed so if he doesn't work, well ..... he doesn't get paid (eventhough he works for his Dad.)     Anyway, I was going to ask for a little bit of energy sent this way .......   he's very down and pee'd off, blaming himself and a little bit for me to stop me going nuts and being certified insane.

Thank you all.

I'll send some over

Hope all goes well, and tell him not to get too annoyed with himself, what happens happens, so there's no point in fussing over it, just take his time and get strong again!

Energy on the way, for both of you...

What a challenge!

Look for the silver lining in the cloud. Tell him to relax and enjoy the rest and the time with the family while he can.

Bright blessings,
Jennie

Isn't he a mechanic? At least I think I remember you mentioning something like that.

If so, at least he did this during the slow time of year, and now he gets to kick back and just be with his family for the holidays.

Energy on the way.

Thank you all so much.

We went back to the fracture clinic today and they have re-plastered his leg with a stronger cast but I bought him a little invention that covers the cast and will allow him to bath and even swim if he wants to. So that sorts out the bathing. As for the rest of it, I've told him to chill out and just kick back for a while. And I'm good at budgeting and house keeping finances..... I went shopping today and saved about 40 GBP because Jon wasn't sneaking things into the shopping basket !

My Mum and Dad have bought me and Ryan a joint Christmas present of a new computer system, he needs it for school, I need it for college....... so Jon can familiarise himself and learn a little bit about the PC if he gets really bored.  However, please note, I may be out of service for a few days due to setting it up etc.

Thank you once again for all your thoughts ........   I'm at the point of, "If I don't laugh, I will cry", but these things only serve to make us stronger.

With lots of love            Kate. XXXX

I can't spare much energy right now, but you'll be in my thoughts.
