I found this link to an article from Britain about a group of undertakers here in New York who were stealing and selling body parts.  To me it is sickening, not only in the desecration of the dead, but in the threat to the living who receive donations of the parts.

I saw an episode of "Bones" where this sort of thing happened.  A young teen was in a skiing accident and needed a bone graft.  The bone that was used was illegally harvested and was riddled with osteoperosis and mesothelioma (sp?), a very severe and aggressive form of lung cancer.  She was already terminal when they discovered what happened, and traced the bone to dozens of other recipients, 3 of which had already died of the cancer.

It's scary enough when you see it on a fictional TV show, but when you read a news report about it happening in real life, it's terrifying
