Something to add to your prayers?

I really don't do a lot of 'energy requests' or asking for a guest slot in your thoughts, but I'm breaking with tradition.

Last week two friends of mine were surfing in Cornwall when they noticed a board that apparently had no surfer.  Anyway, it turned out that a young lad had gotten into trouble and by the time they got him to shore they realised he had no pulse, and in effect had already passed away.

On Wednesday his parents will be turning off the respirators, if he doesn't slip away, he faces life with severe brain damage.  He is 21.

My friends have been really badly affected, as you might imagine.  But probably not as much as his family and friends.  I know you can't cry for the world, but a thought for all concerned would be appreciated.

I'm sorry that I couldn't post something more cheerful today!

That must have been really hard on your two friends as well.  I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers as well as the family of the young man who died.
