Perhaps living this close to the Space Center isn't so great after all.

I'm happy that the shuttle is down safely but did it have to land so early this morning, damn sonic boom rattled my windows and had me on my feet looking for my side arm.

Actually my first thought was sonic boom, then less than two minutes later I heard lots of sirens and they seemed to all be headed for the same place so that had me second guessing.  Seems there was an accident out on US 1 just about the same time the shuttle was landing.

Gods, I need to find me a nice quiet mountain top somwhere.

Don't ya just love those rude awakenings??

Y'all need to move up here to Tennessee where the loudest thing around our house is the Barred Owl that lives near the barn.  Lots of peace and quiet here.

PS:  Brock and I are coming down to my Mom's for Christmas.  Maybe we can get together for a short time.

Or perhaps there was an accident out on US 1 because of the shuttle landing! Shocked
