a lot of times through out my day, or week... i get these energy splurges.  Uncontrollable creative energy. Its where I just want to draw a beautiful picture, write a poem or create something, but my mind races so much that I just cant get it out on paper.  I end up accomplishing absolutely nothing.  I was just wondering if it is a medical or magikal condition... Thank you a lot...bye  Smiley

I'd have to say it's an artistic condition. Try meditation before you put pen to paper, it helps to focus your thoughts.

I would actually say the opposite to Gryphon, but everyone's creative process works differently.

I think you're probably trying too hard to come out with something coherant. Just do without focusing too hard, or at all. Stop placing bounds on yourself and just let yourself go.

You are a very lucky person.

I hate to be completely mundane here, but sometimes that can be a symptom of a psychological condition such as bipolar disorder or something related to mania (manic symptoms), ADD, ADHD, or other conditions.  I would do a little research, and talk to your doctor about it.  It could be something with your body chemistry.

Not to be a downer, but I suffer from Anxiety and Depression, ADHD, and OCD.  It took many years to get diagnosed, but once I did, and got my system straightened out, I felt much better and focused.

Good luck.

Emerald, I've had the same problem for as long as I can remember, but I always attributed it to some frustrated artist attitude crap!  I'm pretty sure I'm ADD, but I keep forgetting to call a doc about it! (bah-dum-ching!)  Seriously, though, I probably ought to get checked out!
