Let's get dangerous....

It should be commons sense that a soldier lost in battle be entitled to the same freedoms in death that he fought for in life.

Hopefully, this will not be just another hot point for the lunatic fringe to use for an election ploy.

That's the second story of that kind I've heard this year.  It's the kind of thing that makes me hang my head in shame.

Well at least she got state approval, maybe we should be happy that we (pagans) are making at least baby steps. It is sad that this took so damn long. And the military is supposed to acknowledge wicca as a religion it is listed in the clergy manual for the army so why is the VA not getting on board? It's truely sad.

I am glad that Ms. Stewart won that battle at the State level, and I truly appreciate her courage in coming forward and continuing her husband's battle for freedom.

And I hope that soon the VA will also recognize the right of Wiccan soldiers, and all other Pagan soldiers to have symbols of their faith on their markers.  I know that organizations like Lady Liberty League and others are working closely with the VA trying to get approval.  So give them your support, it will happen.

I know when I die I would like very much to have a pentacle on my marker at Arlington.
