It sounds like everyones having some 'great luck' !!!!    Sad at the moment.  My best laid plans this weekend have just gone phut.

Ryan was meant to be going to visit his Dad, but Dad has a new girlfriend and doesn't want him there this weekend nor the next.... not a major problem at all just puts paid to my romantic idea I had. Then last night, Jons uncle called from Cornwall to ask if he and his wife could stay for the weekend, they can't stay at his brothers or sisters because of all this Grandads Will arguements.   We're a bit short of cash this week and so we can't really afford to go out for dinner at a restaurant but at 7 and a bit months pregnant, I really don't want to cook a big meal for 5.  Then, just to top it all, I was tidying the spare bedroom, changing bedclothes etc and I've just tripped over the washing basket, ouch, ouch, ouch ...... so I thought I'd better sit down for a few moments and vent my spleen a bit.
But the good news is ....... I had another scan, my placenta has moved so I wont have to have a C-section and baby is doing well, so theres some good news in amongst all the bad.

I hope everyone has a better time next week.

Have everyone else do the cooking.  Each person chips in and cooks what he/she is capable of doing.  You may end up with pasta salad and sandwichies or some such, but what the heck!

Then everybody else, meaning you get to sit your pregnant self down and supervise, does the clean up.  Works for me.

Who knows, with the right attitude it could be a fun family kind of project.

I like Shadow's ideas, you could also make it a pot luck. everyone bring something, that way you won't have so many dishes to clean.
