What would you come back as?

Something that has been running on another board... But I thought might be fun for here...
 
Let's say:
1.) Reincarnation is a fact (none of us truly knows).
2.) Must have a soul (that leaves out plants, and minerals).
3.) You could choose your geographic region.

So if you could come back as anything you wanted to what would you come back as?

A parrot.      

Live in a nice warm country, stuff myself with fruit all day, fly .... and best of all ....... lay eggs, then I just have to sit on them for a while.

Otherwise, come back human again and do it all a bit better the next time around.

But just for fun.

An elephant. They have a slow metabolism and are therefore very chilled out. Have awesome feet which means they can walk silently despite being huge. They can swim really well, shoot water at people and they can't jump, which is great because I was always rubbish at long jump and high jump and felt really embarressed by it.

I would love to come back as a Hawk or a sea mammal. They are so beautiful and graceful--and they understand the cycles of nature and life and death as I may never fully comprehend.

And I've always wondered what it is like to fly or live in water (and then remember the experience and the lessons when I'm human again!)

I suppose if I had to pick one only, it would be the Hawk. As a child though, I would have picked the sea mammal hands down!!

I do believe that minerals and plants have a type of soul, but what the hell...

Hmm...I wouldn't want to be a dog or a cat, I wouldn't want to be domesticated.  Maybe I'd be a crow.  Eating carcassases doesn't sound great, but it would be an honor to be a bird that carries souls to the afterlife.  As for location, maybe a nice little farm town in Iowa or Kansas.  If I ended up in Kansas, I'd make sure to peck Fred Phelps' eyes out.
