Got to do a survey for my pschology course ......

Hello everyone,    I've been doing an foundation psychology course since January before I move on to study Social work and counselling. Now I need to do a survey.  

I'm not sure that the moderators will allow me to do this and if not I will completely understand.  

However, if its okay to do it then I just need to explain the ethical guidelines for it.   First of all, it is purely for my college course and will only be read by my tutor and myself, you can remain anonymous but I will need your age group and ethnic group if youre willing to tell me.  I have an email address purely for my college work and the answers to the questions can be sent to this so nothing cloggs up the board and no one else reads the answers unless you want them to.    The survey is about 'Perception' - what influences your first impressions of people etc etc.   I need you to answer as honestly as possible. And finally, you do not have to answer any questions that you do not wish to and you can email me if you change your mind about me using the information you have given me. I'll give you the date that I have to hand the assignment in by and you can let me know before this if you change your mind.  

Anyway, I will leave this with the moderators for a few days and if I get the go ahead I'll post the questions.

It seems that everyone here has quite independant views of various subjects and quite balanced views of themselves.  I have tried this survey with various groups of friends here and most of it was treated as a joke which is of no help to me.
