I just wanted to tell someone this...

Yesterday I was setting in my truck waiting for my mission number when a little bird landed out side my door. It looks like a little sparrow. Anyways it talked to me and looked at me funny, so I gave it a cracker.  It ate the cracker looked at me and again talked to me, so I gave it water in a dish. It was happy to see the water, It drank some and then took a bath. After a few minutes, it got out of the water and talked again, I guessed that it was saying thank you and then it went away. It was the coolest thing I have ever had happen to me in the land called Iraq.

What a marvelous encounter. Birds are incredibly special creatures. They have a lot to tell us, if only we'd listen!

That's so cool to have an encounter with a bird like that. I had a similar encounter like that last year but it's with a orange cat or kitten I should say.

Maybe it was an omen of hope.

I had a somewhat similiar encounter a few years ago during a Full Moon ritual.  I was in my backyard and was meditating with the moon glowing very brightly right above me and all of a sudden a cat charged right at me from my left and seemed to literally bounce off of the outside of my circle.  I didn't even see it coming and it meowed very loudly when it made contact with the energy sphere.  Scared the crap out of me, but then I laughed because I knew it was just the Goddess' way of telling me she was there.
