This kind of legislation denies people access to hospital rooms and basic support of a loved one we all enjoy and never consider a constitutional right! Argh!

You are absolutely right and I mistyped. I apologize.   I meant heterosexuals enjoy such rights that are being denied to our gay friends and that 'we' (heterosexuals) take those rights for granted.
