Pagan Kids books!

« on: July 17, 2006, 11:35:48 AM »

I just got off the phone with the Postal Inspector/Federal Police. Back in May a woman purchased products from Magickware with a stolen credit card. She racked up thousands of dollars on the stolen card with purchases made at several different merchants.

Well, long story short, the Feds know who she is and are doing what they can to bring her to justice. If they can get a conviction there is a possibility that restitution will be made to the merchants whose products were purchased with the stolen card. As it stands now, I had to "pay back" the amount of the purchase to the credit card company, so I am out the cost of the goods, the goods themselves and the cost of shipment and packaging.

I would really like to see this woman get caught and convicted of her crimes. All the other merchants are also cooperating with the police. And, I admit, I would like to receive $$ for the merchandise I can no longer sell but have paid for. But that really would be bonus points and I don't count on it happening.

What do you guys say? Shall we focus our energies and help the justice and legal system gather all the evidence they need for an airtight conviction? (And a little "back-to-normal" energy for the poor couple who had their credit information stolen might be nice too.)

I know how that couple feels. in November 2003 somebody stole my credit card while I was out shopping with my kids.
I didn't notice it until the next day when I went to use it. I called the bank as soon as I noticed. However they had all ready used my card, the purchases totalled close to $1000.
Thankfully I wasn't responsible for the charges. But the police never found the person whotook my credit card.

It took the bank a month to get ny account straightened out. The account was Frozen until they did. I cried, all I could think of was that my kids were going to lose Christmas. Then I got angry.
The kids did get Christmas presents, thanks to my brothers and sisters lending me money.

I'm send alot of  *positive energy* your way Gryphon.

My credit card was stolen in Brazil last year.  The thief bought some trainers with it.  I still wish these days that his/her feet acquire some kind of incurable fungus.  Oh well...  Justice and restitution, yes!!!!

This also happened to me, just after we purchased our first house three years ago. I don't think I've yet recovered from the creepy feeling it gave me!

I'm sorry Magickware has been made to suffer, along with the other victims. Having just been ripped off by another pagan internet site, I can speak to Magickware's reliability, great products and fast shipping... personally. Lighting a candle for all of you!

Count me in too !!!!

I had a guy come to me for a tattoo for himself and two piercings for his wife and he offered me a stolen credit card (that I could use to the value of 2000 GBP) instead of cash payment of 150 GBP.  When I do a tattoo I ask for ID (passport or driving licence which also has their address on it) and they have to fill in a consent form.    I declined the card and said I'd give him a discount for cash which he paid me.    I then made sure the tattoo hurt like hell, but it was a nice piece of work (I have my reputation to think of.) and added insult to injury by contacting the police. Turns out that the guy and his wife had been scamming credit cards for years, they found several at his house.      Justice done !!
