To be honest, I've never read any of her stuff, so I really can't tell you whether it's any good or not.  Perhaps someone else will speak up on it.

Here's a review of the book written by a friend whose judgement I trust.  http://www.ecauldron.com/bktwh.php  Doesn't sound like a book I'd put on my recommended list.

Any thoughts on Christopher Penczak?  I thumbed through one of his "Temple of...." series, and it looked pretty decent for beginners (quite surprising for a Llewellyn book).  Has anyone here read any of his books?

The only of Christopher Penczak's books I've heard of is "Gay Witchcraft: Empowering the Tribe," though I haven't read any of them.  In Michael Thomas Ford's book "The Path of the Green Man," he mentions this book, saying that it's too much of a Wicca 101 book and it focuses too much on magic for his taste, but I do want to take a look at it since there is a deficit of books specifically for gay Wiccans.

I have read two of Christopher Penczak's books and I have to say I was rather impressed. Magick of Reiki is excellent, but I would not recomend it to someone who hasn't already been trained in reiki.

I also read his Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft I found this to be quite good as well.  I haven't read any of his other books sorry.

As to Scott Cunningham, I think some here was asking about his books. When I was a beginner all I had were his books. His wicca for the solitary practioner is priceless! His incense oils and brews is quite good as well. I would not hesitate to recomend his books to anyone. They are an excellent starting point on the path.

Thanks for your reply. The only two books I have of him right now is Wicca and Living Wicca. I planned to get his books on earth power and earth magic (can't exactly remember their name).
