i have been having horrible nightmares lately about demons.  one of then was that a demon would rip out a persons bones and then put copper wireing in place of them, as a form of torture or something.  The demon was following me and my close friend around trying to catch us so it could do the same to us.  It was very scary and left me feeling scared long after I had awoken from the nightmare. I just thought it was a bit odd... and I was wondering why I am having so many nightmares about them...  Shocked

We all have really weird and scary nightmares sometimes.  I once had a recurring nightmare that a homeless person was trying to eat me.

I really wouldn't worry too much about it; I doubt that demons are really going to try to do this to you.  Try putting bay leaves under your pillow; I've found that they can transform nightmares into pleasant dreams.

It's probably that last slice of pizza you ate before going to bed.

I think you ought to try to interpret it. What do demons mean to you? Do you believe in them as actual entities? Do they symbolize something for you?

For example, if you think they don't actually exist, but are symbolic agents of evil, then you might think about what you're seeing around you---are the people you know being tormented somehow?

Bones imply structure, the foundation of a person. Copper wire is conductivity, so someone with copper wire instead of a skeleton would be hypersensitive to electrical fields. Do you know people without a strong inner sense of self, who seem extremely reactive to outside inflammatory influences, and who are very unhappy?

Have you been worried about any similar tendences in yourself?

These aren't definitive--just the kinds of questions you might ask yourself as you analyze your dream.

demons in a dream...hmmm.the above questions are very good ones to ask.

they say that every person or creature in your dreams is an aspect of yourself.maybe keep that in mind when you're interpreting!

try some chamomile tea before bed instead.

Food takes time to digest (cheese takes a loong time to digest, hence why you "shouldn't" eat cheese before bed), so if you have it before going to bed your stomach's like, "what the f*** is this?! Isn't it sleep time?" and works on digesting...thus your bod isn't quite as settled as it should be.

Def. try and give analysing your dream a go, but it could also come from a TV show or movie you watched lately - last week I dreamt my caucasian dad was in the running to be the first black US president and I had to fight off people in our garden - all because I'd been watching 24!!  Envy

I'm betting it was Italian sausage.

That's the worst.
