I've searched and searched (and by that I mean for years) but I just cannot find the ingredients for Black Cat incense and oil.  Can anyone tell me what is in it or tell me where I can find the recipe?  Thanks.

The only place I have seen it mentioned, other than as a commercial product, is in a list from Herman Slater's "Magical Formulary" (unfortunately I don't have a copy".  Have you looked at that book?

I've seen many references to that book on luckymojo.com, but most they're complaints about his straying from traditional hoodoo and they have not listed any recipes for Black Cat.  Perhaps I'll do a search for that book and see if anything turns up.  Thanks.

As expected, a search for Herman Slater's book turned up mostly sites selling the book and not formulas from it.  Maybe I'll just do the capitalist thing and buy the damn book.  Envy

Try half.com.  YOu can pick up the darndest books for almost nothing there.  Most of the books I've bought through them were like new and the shipping, less than four bucks per shipment, was usually more than the books themselves.

Give it a try, the book you're looking for just might be there.
