My copy of Leo Martello's, "How to Prevent Physic Blackmail" was a borrowed copy and I've never found it again once its owner moved to the other coast... does anyone have a copy? For all that the title is sappy, the content was worth reading and re-reading. (I once was in touch with Martello's executor but neglected to back up the computer file that held her address. Oops. Now it seems something of a quest to find a copy.)

Irrelevant aside - I grin whenever I post and see 'spellcheck' below the message window. Does anyone else?

First, as far as the book goes, have you tried www.half.com ?

I've found some really hard to find books there and they were always an incredible bargain.

As for the spell check.  Yeah, I usually use it a lot.  I'm quite dyslexic. However, my computer had a hard drive crash and I've been using my son's machine.  For some reason the spell check messes up with this computer and I lose the post if I use it.  Nothing more frustrating than spending a half hour typing a post or reply and then have it go away like that.

just did a google search, using Psychic, not Physic, and found 3 or four places that were selling it...one was selling a used copy for 50 bucks.

Google is your friend.  So is spellcheck Tongue

Now I feel stupid. I'd asked the question without checking Google or ABEbooks because when I had last looked, no one had heard of it (not uncommon with self-published and small-company books) and it didn't even occur to me that might have changed in a few years. Thank you! Very Happy

You could type your post in Microsoft Word (or a similar program that has spell check) and then copy and paste the text into the forum reply box. I hope that helps.
