MM to all.

I am interested in developing my skills as a empath. After realising that it isn't a curse but a skill that is worthy of development.

So does anyone know of any good books or web sites that can help me out?

Thanks,

Sorry, I don't know any good sites or books, however I do have one piece of advice (being somewhat empathic myself).   Learning shielding before trying to hone empathic skills.  If you don't, you will most likely be picking up constantly and cause havoc on your  emotional heal...a lesson I learned quick, the hard way.  It is truely a wonderful gift, when learned to be used.

Lady Winter Rogue....You are the first post I'm making on this Forum.....the reason I mention this is because at 58 being an Empath is really getting me down lately....I think we were meant to meet....There is a link to Empath studies I can turn you on to...It's
http://www.geocities.com/christabelle67/TUEmpathyGeneralEmpathLinks.html

I hope I put it in right.....Let me know if you got anything out of it....I just found that link a few weeks ago and I'm still searching!  I got very excited when I found it!!!!

I am a "natural empath" i guess you can say, and it has left me somewhat emotionally imbalanced. However, I think that Empathy is somewhat natural...esp. when people get involved in the craft. It just sort of strengthens over time i guess. Cool

I would definitely say to learn to shield first, do it well and do it often!  Practice this until you hardly need to think about it to do it.  There are several negatives to being empathic fin my own experience, chiefly among these being insomnia and migraines.

A couple of good books on this are:

"The Inner Temple of Witchcraft" by Christopher Penczak

and

"Full Contact Magick" by Kerr Cuhulain

I'm sure there are others but I'm at work currently and can't think of any others off the top of my head.
Good luck
