Hello.  I am new here and have a special request.

Several years ago, I began my journey of the path I have chosen.  I was able to leave behind many bad habits and progress into the light and knowledge of spiritual life (gardening, healing, holistic living, seer).  I was (am) a healer and worked on many people along the way.  For a few years, it was an incredible experience until I became ill.

Since I have become ill, the doctors have me on medication and this medication has just about sucked the life out of me, causing depression, weight gain and I feel a detachment that isn't good.

I know I have the power within myself to right this situation.  I KNOW it.  But I have become very weak and cannot conjure up the energy to do what I know I have to do to win this battle.  And I know it is a battle I can overcome, if I could just get enough energy to begin.

Recently, I have taken the first step out of this darkness by beginning to garden and grow herbs again, which is always very healing and cathartic for me.  My mind is beginning to reflect on the mystical and spiritual journey again.  But it is a very small step and I can't seem to get to the next place.

I know I am new.  You don't know me.  But, please, would you extend your thoughts and energies, if you can, to help quicken my pace to being whole, full of light, positive energy, healing and love?

As I sit here in tears, I cannot express how much this would mean to me.

Please help.

Thank you,

Sirilah

Oh, of corse. I am a healer also, and would be glad to help you. I shall give you some energy. Try outdoor meditation(in your favorite place of the garden, spirtually speaking) and ask your aligned goddess for help and instruction. Follow the goddess's instructions. That should help.

Merry Meet.

I have tried to fight off similar illnesses, which I won, but the exhaustion and depression left from trying to conquer these things by myself left me destitute for four years. I know what you mean, and my thoughts and energies will be with you.

Goddess Bless, and May Spirit guide you in everything you do.

Thank you so much...both of you.  You cannot imagine how much your care and compassion means.

I believe with almost 100% certainty, the reason I am ill is because of the healing I did several years ago.  I did not know how to get rid of the negativity and it stayed in my body.

People would think I am absolutely bonkers for saying and believing this, but I know me and I understand what is really going on.  I just wish I had been wise enough to protect myself.

Thank you again!

Blessings to you both,

Ok. hold on... Can I look at your aura?

It sounds like it's severly clouded. With permission, I can clean it. (It's an energy gift)

Oterthings you can try include programming a quartz crystal to soak up the negative energy then when your finish with it, bury in for  month. The inscribe a candle with you purpose (a white candle) and burn it to a stub. Next go bury any leftover wax, and take a ritual bath that is very salty. Repeat if nessasary.

Being only a new Pagan, I don't know much about healing. However, I hope it helps to know I'll be thinking about you. Smiley I've never dealt with medication, myself, but I have been through depression and I know how terribly draining and life-siphoning it can be.

I know this isn't much, but don't give up. You DO have strength, you DO have the energy to battle this illness. You sound like a sweet, nurturing person - I'm sure you have, not just Pagans, but friends and family of all faiths wishing you well. With all that good energy, I'm sure you'll be okay.

Good luck and Blessed Be,
Pico.

Today is the first that I have been on this forum in months, since I have been feeling too sick to check my email or go online (Just all-day morning sickness, don't worry too much Smiley)

It's interesting that just yesterday I read something by Starhawk (in "The Earth Path" p111) that today is very relevant to you.

---
She writes, "Over the years, I've become concerned as I've seen many Witches, healers, therapists, and other spiritual teachers develop immune system disorders, chronic fatigue syndrom, and other illnesses. In order to work with energy as we do in the Craft or in other healing traditions...we need a strong, ongoing connection to the natural world. These techniques come from people who were immersed in the natural world and attuned to other consciousnesses and communications.

Early practitioners of the Craft didn't include in their instructions, "Go outside regularly, garden, and eat local food in season," because they didn't need to, any more than I would think of advising you to bathe regularly."

[from p.112] "Your best protection, and an important aspect of your own healing, is to spend time in the natural world, preferably in a place that is high in both physical and subtle vitality. Those old Victorians had the right idea when they sent invalids to the seaside for a cure. The more time you can spend in nature, grounded and fully in your senses, opening up to its communications and gifts, the more vitality you will have to draw on."

I am not a healer, and I'll bow to anyone else's deeper experience. But perhaps this would help you a little.

It is also useful to include in your daily practice or routine, the drawing of and storage of universal energy from the earth and air into your body.  As you get used to this practice it will be possible for you to find extra energy you need from the life force around you. Smiley

This is very eye-opening for me! I have developed Fibro-Myalgia and the symptoms have become much harder to manage. In particular, the depression and fatigue.

For the longest time now, I have had the strongest urge to be close to the ocean. I long for it every day. This longing has been going on for about 2 years now. I had pretty much written this off as missing living on the eastern seaboard where, on any givin day, just on a whim, I could hop in my car and get to the ocean for some "down" time.

After reading your post, perhaps it's time I break down and return to the sea for a visit...
