I had a call from Branwen's friend today and was told that Branwen crossed the veil yesterday evening.
This world has lost a wonderful person, but she is now safely in the arms of Bast, for whose children Branwen worked so long and so hard.

I knew last night. I saw her in a journey. I had hoped I was wrong and it had just been a dream.
She will be missed. I raise me glass to her.

That's quite a shock to hear. My thoughts are with her, wherever she is now. I may not have known her well, but I'm sure she's had a wonderful influence on those who did. It's thanks to her essay on this site that I found the motivation to begin a successful herb garden after years of killing plants!

I bow my head, close my eyes and remember the beauty that was and is Branwen. Safe travels my friend.

I am at a loss for words. Branwen was a very special lady, and I will miss her. We never met in person, but we did correspond a few times, mostly about cats and cat rescue. (Does anyone know what is happening with her cats? I know how much she loved them and cared about them.)
My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and all those who loved her.

(Does anyone know what is happening with her cats? I know how much she loved them and cared about them.) Her friend Patty has Mojo and the kitten and they will stay with her, so her cats are assured of a good home. Poor Mojo must be completely confused right now with all the turmoil in his home. But he will be OK. -Lark-

Branwen will be sorely missed, but her legacy will live on in the memories of all who visited here.

I'm in Northern California and was going to offer to take in one of her ferals (or other "unadoptable" type) if homes were needed. Chris

She was extremly active in Kitten Rescue, and the forum sponsored The Little Lion's Den, which is a spay-neuter-release feral colony in the area run by a friend of hers.
As a consequence, although she only had two permanent full-time cats, she often had others she was caring for on a temporary basis. So your impression that she had many cats that she cared for was actually correct.
In fact, if anyone had the urge to send flowers or some form of condolence token, a donation to either of these causes in her name would be the most appropriate memorial that I can think of.

I just don't know what to say. I do know that she will be missed very much by all of the members of this board, myself included. She always had good advice to give to anyone who needed it.
May she rest with Bast.

Her words guided my path all these years. I am where I am greatly because of her (Either directly, or through recources she made available to me). Her life touched all of ours, and all the lives she touched shined brightly. So, thank you Branwen. I will miss you, but I know you are not forever gone; you are simply on another step of your journey.
To Branwen.
