Hey everybody, AngelicEnigma here. I'm probably the only guy on the boards but whatever. Anyway I'm not gonna pretend I know alot about Witchcraft because I don't. So if I say something stupid in the future I apologize. About me, I'm seventeen, name's Joe, I live in New Jersey (please no Jersey jokes) I like pretty much any genre of music under the sun, and I'm into pro wrestling. If there's a picture thread around here I'll probably add one of me.

Glad to be here. Also, I've heard that animal sacrifices are commonplace in Witchcraft. Is this true? And this is just a suggestion, but how about some Off Topic forums for movies, games, music, ect.

Only in movies and on TV news during sweeps.  Otherwise, there are very few strains of Witchcraft that would be into harming wee critters.

Both. I'm not a mark. Well, maybe for Matt and Jeff but that's it.  Cool

I've gone to 2 ROH events and both were better than anything the E could produce.

Hi there,

I thought I would help you with some recommendations on books and websites that you may find helpful in learning more about your path. I would begin by reading through the posts on this board..you may find they answer some of your questions. Then check out the rest of Branwen?s site, particularly the Library, for other sound information.

My two favorite books for new people are "A Witch Alone" by Marian Green, and "21st Century Wicca" by Jennifer Hunter. The first will help you understand traditional Witchcraft better, and the second is a wonderful overview of Wicca. I also highly recommend "Drawing Down the Moon" by Margot Adler, "Voices from the Circle" by Prudence Jones and Caitlin Matthews, "The Elements of Ritual" by Deborah Lipp and "Practical Pagan" by Dana Eilers.

Some websites that are full of useful and accurate information include the ones below:

The Witches' Voice: http://www.witchvox.com

The Witches's Sabbats: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Forum/7280/index.html

Wicca for the Rest of Us: http://wicca.timerift.net/

Enyo's Workshop:
http://www.wargoddess.net

Annwn's Cauldron: http://www.annwnscauldron.com/ (this site has a wonderful on-line course) You can find the first lessons on the message board at http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/nav/start.asp?webtag=annwn1

As you read and study, I'm sure you will find yourself full of lots of questions. And that's where this board comes in handy. There are lots of folks here with years of experience in many different paths who will be more than happy to help you with those questions as you find the path that will be uniquely yours. So welcome again, and we look forward to seeing lots more of you

PS:  Just to let you know, there are a number of guys on this board.,.so you won't be the only male around!

Hey guys, could I please just make a suggestion? Witchcraft is good and all but how about some off topic forums? Like for books, TV, movies, general off topic, maybe even a spam forum where post count is turned off.

Nope, we're not going to have an off-topic folder.

First of all, this is a board for Pagans to discuss Pagan topics.  While we do have some OT posts here we try mostly to stay on topic.  If discussing Paganism isn't what you are looking for, this may not be the best choice of forums for you.

Secondly, our bandwidth is limited so we don't want to take up valuable space discussing things that aren't pertinent to the purpose of this board.

And thirdly, the nice lady who pays for this site isn't interested in having such a folder.

Sorry,
